Uni Staff Golf Champions 2017

In a graceful movement from the pulpit to the links the University Chaplain, Donald McEwan, picked up two pieces of silver for his golfing endeavours over the year. Despite a spirited effort by Callan Duck (SMRU) in the final of the Boase Quaich singles event, the Reverend McEwan ascended to glory, converting his earlier fourball win with his more earthly partner, Niall Scott (Director of Communications) over Cameron Little (HR) and Eric Gillespie (Finance) into a spotless season of triumph. Rumours that trumpet blasts were heard around the Jubilee course have yet to be confirmed. (by Alex Allen, IEI)
