Uni Staff Golf Champions 2020

It would not be a normal year if the sea did not part to show the way for the Reverend Donald McEwen to lift  a golf trophy, and as the waves rolled back to the  command of his staff (disguised as a putter) the notably less reverend Niall Scott hitched a lift on the fiery chariot for them to snatch the prize from Renald Schaub and Alex Allen. Indeed the good Dr Schaub was also runner up in the singles tournament in a battle of the boffins against fellow scientist Dr Graham Miller. Playing in their lab coats and goggles proved to be more of a disadvantage to Renald whose alchemy could not counter the might of the physicist’s atom splitting precision. Congratulations to the three winners. (by Alex Allen, IEI)
